One-to-One Puppy Programme
This programme has been designed to give you & your Puppy the best start to your life together.
The programme starts with a theory/induction video lesson where I will discuss why Puppies do what they do, how they learn & how we teach them.
This is followed by your practical lessons which can be tailored to the requirements of you & your Pup taking into account your Pups age, personality, breed traits & temperament as well as your experience & lifestyle. These sessions can be held at your home &/or out & about in a suitable location where appropriate.
During the programme we will aim to include the following:
- Preparing for your Puppy's arrival
- Support with routines - sleep, toileting, exercise,
- Puppy Mouthing/Play Biting
- Meeting & Greeting People & Dogs in a polite manner
- Attention & Focus
- Puppy Walks
- Coming When Called
- Self Control, including food manners
- Remaining calm while being Examined & Groomed
- Good Manners
- Settling in a place
- Car Travel
- How to be Home Alone
- Enrichment
- Socialisation
The first 16-20 weeks of your Pups life are crucial as they learn so much in this time. To get the most out of this key learning phase your Life Skills programme can start as soon as your Puppy is home... or even before!
I do recommend booking in advance so you are ready to start your practical sessions as soon as your Pup has settled in with you, usually around 7 days after their arrival.
